INDEX
EXAMPLE
These pages are an example of the special Index used in our books.
In most books, the Index comes at the back, with the subjects in alphabetical
order. This is good for someone trying to find a particular subject,
but can't help you if you are looking for a group of related subjects.
Our Index comes at the front of each book and not only shows you what
page everything is on, but also lays out all the related subjects grouped
together and how they are related. You can use this Index not only
to find what you are looking for but also to see how it fits into a
bigger subject.
Apart from this extra advantage over an ordinary Index, the layout
is also very helpful for the student nurse to use in revision. If you
memorise the headings as they are shown in the Index, you will not
miss anything out when you come to answer your examination questions.
